Staten Island Arts welcomes new board member: Ken Tirado

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Ken Tirado has joined Staten Island Arts as a board member, the organization's executive director, Christopher Hellstrom, said Monday. Tirado, a Silver Lake resident, long-time arts supporter and owner of Killmeyer's Old Bavaria Inn, was elected to the organization's board last week. Medium appoints new area sales manager

BERLIN, Oct 4, 2015: Attendance slipped at the world’s biggest beer party, the annual Oktoberfest in Germany, as border controls imposed to stem the flow of refugees complicated rail travel, organisers said today. Show sailing in

The U.S. Sailboat Show comes to town this week with increased ticket sales and a renewed effort to attract young people. Despite rainy weather, the floating docks are in place at City Dock in Annapolis and the first of 200 sailboats are expected today.
