MUNICH, July 19 (Xinhua) -- A big fire broke out on late Saturday night in a sawmill in the southern German state of Bavaria, causing damage of 1 million euros (1.08 million U.S. dollars), according to local police.Bavarian Police reported that the fire started in a warehouse and spread to other buildings in the town of Hammelburg in the district of Bad Kissingen.The firefighters were not able to bring the fire under control until early Sunday morning. Munich's Jewish community has celebrated the 200th of its foundation in a ceremony attended by leading politicians, businessmen and celebrities.
