RIP Eleonore Kastner (aka Oma Ella)

BERLIN, GERMANY – The Eurovision fan community has lost its beloved “grandma”. Eleonore Kastner, better known as Oma Ella passed away at the glorious age of 105.

Born in Bavaria in 1910, Oma was a keystone of the Eurovision family, being the oldest fan and an inspiration for all. Attending every single contest since 2011, she had become the centre of attention from the fans and the medias.

Though she won’t be in Vienna, she will be thought during this jubilee edition. You can leave a message on the Facebook condolence page.
