Tej nocy 53-latek spał na kanapie w swoim domu. Był sam. Gdy usłyszał dobiegający z zewnątrz hałas, zerwał się na równe nogi, pobiegł do piwnicy, chwycił za broń, pobiegł do ogrodu i kilkakrotnie strzelił w kierunku zgromadzonych na ulicy osób. Jak twierdzi, nie miał zamiaru nikogo zabić. Mimo to postawiono mu zarzut morderstwa.

Het Openbaar Ministerie in Beieren vervolgt een man wegens moord, omdat hij in de Oudejaarsnacht een meisje van 11 heeft doodgeschoten. Het meisje stond tussen feestvierders die vuurwerk afstaken. De man ontkent dat hij gericht heeft geschoten, maar het OM gelooft hem niet.De 53-jarige inwoner van Oberaurach werd die nacht rond 01.00 uur wakker van vuurwerk.
