Data Analyst – Bavaria Region

My client is one of the largest news outlets in the Bavaria region with a circulation of 160,000 copies daily and more than 408,000 readers. My client media output includes the printed newspaper as well as its app on your smartphone and tablet and on the internet. About 750,000 people use their website every month and thus can retrieve news stories from their region and the world anytime, anywhere.

My client is urgently looking for a Data Analyst in the Bavarian region to join their team which is currently expanding to meet its new demands and challenges.

Your responsibilities

  • Your task will be to assist in the conception and technical development of a data warehouse for the sales management team based on SAP BI.
  • You will collaborate with other departments in order to agree the content that will be included. Your ideas and suggestions matter!
  • The technical implementation will be in cooperation with the SAP development team.
  • Interesting special projects within your task area, such as Ad-Hoc analysis and data mining for market research

Your Profile

  • You have a degree in computer science or a similar business IT-oriented statements.
  • Very good knowledge of relational data (database) modelling.
  • You have excellent communication skills in English, German is preferable but not necessary.
