Founder and former head of the national German People's Union (DVU) has died at age 80, according to an announcement posted on his party's National Zeitung web site. The 2020 European Championship has been announced to be hosted in 13 different cities and 13 different countries, and the Bavarian state, the city of Munich and FC Bayern München have launched a bid to the DFB (German FA) to host Euro 2020 matches at the Allianz Arena.
