Bench: Brits in Bavaria

Last night saw the official opening of Bench’s new showroom and headquarter in Munich. As reported earlier on SI, the Manchester-based streetwear brand chose the Bavarian capital as location for its second additional 3,000 sqm office space to underline the importance of the German market.

Still, as Chairman and CEO, Dr. Bruno Sälzer pointed out, the British roots will play the dominant role and mark the look feel of Bench strongly connected to fashion and music: “Also with our Munich office we want to express that coolness and urban UK lifestyle that Bench is all about.” As further proof the brand also introduced its new testimonial, UK singer and Grammy award winner Jess Glynne who also performed live during yesterday’s party and is part of Bench’s #Lovemyhood campaign.
