San Francisco for America´s professional sailors is like the coast of Croatia for the international regatta scene for BAVARIA sailors. All in all four big regatta Cups are challenged for in the Kornati in the upcoming season and the season ends with the 1000 mile race from Biograd to Lefkas and back. A field of more than 100 BAVARIA yachts are not uncommon in these regattas. They sail at all regattas with one design classes such as the CRUISER 40 S, or with an open class with spinnaker such as the CRUISER 45 or CRUISER 46. Sailors with high sporting ambitions enjoy tough competition for the prizes. Sailors who only enjoy sailing, but also like it to compete with each other, find the right competitor in the CRUISER 46 class.
15th Kornati Cup
The 15th Kornati Cup anniversary kicks off the regatta season where a total of 100 yachts will start at this traditional regatta. The experienced tournament committee with the legendary race director Gert Schmidleitner limits the number of participants. The course of the Kornati Cup starts in Murter and the first stage progresses to the island Piskera in the national park of the Kornati. Situated at an extremely important marina there is only a maximum of 100 yacht moorings which is the reason for the limited amount of participants. Next to this medium distance race course from Murter to Piscera along the beautiful islands of the Kornati, there is another shorter course. Despite the legendary evening parties of the Kornati Cup, the sporty race is of primary importance at the racing cup.

Business Cup
“Fight on water, become familiar on land“ is the motto of the Business Cup which finds its place off the coast of Biograd 16 to 20 May. Companies participate in a sporty competition and make the regatta course an incentive for employees and customers. Because of that the Business Cup is a unique event at which both simple employees and top managers can participate. For managers there is the possibility for a casual meeting, exchange of views and of course for doing business during the event.
The BAVARIA Cup
Since 2007 the BAVARIA Cup off the coast of Biograd has been a key attraction. You will sail in CRUISER 40 S yachts that are identical in construction which means that every team has the same speed potential and only the sailing ability of the crew make the difference between winning and losing. The start of the first of eight races is on September 26, the last race of the BAVARIA Cup is on October 3. www.bavaria-cup.org THE RACE – 1000 miles To sail a race with more than 1.000 miles is a special challenge and the special attraction of THE RACE – 1000miles, this regatta for fans of long distance courses from Biograd to Lefkas in Greece and back to Biograd in the Kornati. You sail with one design classes with the sporty CRUISER 41S, with the CRUISER 45 with gennaker or with the open class with spinnaker. The race starts on October 17 and the ceremony takes place on October 31.
