“The Amazing Race,” or “TAR” Season 26 will air its fifth episode titled “Get In That Lederhosen, Baby” on Friday, April 3, 2015. The eight remaining teams will go to Germany and explore Bavaria in Munich for the fifth leg of the race. “TAR” host Phil Keoghan will be waiting once again for the contestants to arrive on the Pit Stop.

Spoiler Alert! This article contains “The Amazing Race” Season 26 spoilers of its episode 5. Read only if you want to know more about it. TV Guide reports that the race will continue on in Bavaria, Germany wherein the teams must wear their lederhosen and participate in Oktoberfest.

Lederhosen are leather breeches which are worn in Germany. Oktoberfest is a festival in Munich that lasts for 16 days. It starts from late September to the first weekend in October. It usually involves lots of festivities, including drinking tons of beer.

Plus, another fanny pack gets lost again during the race. It might end up bad for one couple because going back and finding the fanny pack takes a lot of time.

The eight teams composed of dating and blind date couples will depart from their Pit Stop at the Wat Ratchanatdaram – Loha Prasat in Bangkok, Thailand to go on a thrilling journey filled with numerous obstacles that they must overcome. Below is a list of the teams that will compete in Leg 5.

4. Team SoCal (Laura and Tyler) (Date Night Winner)

5. Team JJ (Jeff and Jackie)

6. Truck Stop Love (Mike and Rochelle)  

7. The Legal Team (Jelani and Jenny)

8. The Hairstylists (Matt and Ashley)

Unfortunately for New Kids on the Block, or NKOTB fans, Team New Kid which is composed of Jonathan Knight and his boyfriend of seven years, actor Harley Rodriguez, got eliminated in Leg 4 of “The Amazing Race.”

As for Team SoCal which is composed of Laura and Tyler, they won Date Night in Leg 4. They will spend a romantic evening aboard a water boat at the Chao Phraya River in Thailand before going to Germany in “TAR” 26 Leg 5.
