Report: Reina agrees Napoli return

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Pepe Reina has agreed a deal to return to Napoli at the end of the season, according to reports in Germany.

The Spanish international spent last season on loan at San Paolo, but moved to Bavaria in the summer after a permanent deal could not be struck.

However, Reina has made just three appearances for the German champions this season, and was sent off 13 minutes into his last game.

Sky Germany is now reporting that the goalkeeper has agreed a deal to return to the Partenopei, something to which Bayern are not opposed.

It’s not clear whether the deal would be contingent on the future of Napoli Coach Rafa Benitez, who has worked with Reina at Liverpool and Napoli.
