Redding Roadhouse’s Oktoberfest fete starts Sunday

oktoberfest_email-1The Redding Roadhouse will be transformed into a Bavarian beer and dining hall for its Oktoberfest starting this Sunday and continuing through Oct. 27.

There will be German fare and entertainment. Brats, wursts and schnitzels will be accompanied by seasonal Oktoberfest brews. The aim is providing “a true taste of this traditional autumn festival held in Munich, Bavaria, Germany.”

The Oktoberfest celebration includes:

• Bier Hof: A month-long rotating variety of Oktoberfest brews, local craft beer and seasonal flavors in the Roadhouse’s indoor/outdoor beer hall, complete with patio tables, music and festive decor.

• Oom-Pah Band: Late Sunday afternoons featuring traditional Volkstümliche musik.
