Pep Guardiola has decided on Bayern Munich future, to announce Saturday

The 26-year-old has enjoyed consistent success in Bavaria, winning four Bundesliga titles, the German Cup, the Super Cup, the Champions League and the Club World Cup.

“If something is not considered important I can’t be arguing with different media”.

Guardiola’s deal at Bayern Munich runs out next June, and says he has made his mind up over his future, but has yet to reveal the decision.

Before his move to Bavaria, the former Barca midfielder was a two-time Champions League victor during a record-setting tenure at the Catalan club.

And former Liverpool defender Carragher believes United would be foolish not to make an attempt to lure one of the world’s best managers to Old Trafford, particularly in light of interest from their derby rivals.

However, more rumors about his departure emerged on Friday, with some sources claiming that it was a done deal and that Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti would be his replacement.

Guardiola has just over six months left on his contract with Bayern Munich and speculation has been rife that the Spaniard could depart the Allianz Arena at the end of the season. “That’s what Man United and City should be asking”. More than anything, he gets clubs playing a brand of football they have never seen before. It is a job where you could create something with legacy.

Arsenal could be an unlikely fourth contender, however, should Guardiola opt to repeat the path he chose after leaving Barcelona in 2012 – and take a year-long sabbatical before embarking on his next managerial role.

According to The Sun, Chelsea, United and City are all chasing the signature of Guardiola. “It’s not going to be easy”.

“It was the same with David Moyes”, Ferdinand said. Their defence of their league title last season was poor but they still finished second and are the favourites to take the crown this term.

“I do not know whether he will renew in the end, but if he doesn’t then it does not matter”.
