Berlin. At least one person died and twenty sustained injuries in a train and truck collision in Germany, Oberfalznetz news portal announcing, citing the German police.
According to initial reports, the train that was carrying some fifty people crashed into a truck of the US army without reducing its speed late on Thursday.
Both vehicles caught fire after the collision.
A helicopter took some sixteen seriously injured passengers to a local hospital in Northern Bavaria.
