Never before
seen in NZ; new yachts on the water at Auckland On Water
Boat Show

The Viaduct Harbour will play host to the
first Bavaria Vision 46 and Cruiser 41 seen in New Zealand,
at the Auckland On Water Boat Show in September.

Two new Bavaria yachts on display for the
first time

This year’s Auckland On Water Boat
Show will play host to two yachts, new to New Zealand.
Bavaria’s Vision 46 and Cruiser 41 are both Farr
Yacht-designed to cater to cruising sailors who enjoy
spending as much time as they can onboard.

At
13.99-metres, and with two-to-three bedrooms based on your
preferences, the Vision 46 is designed to incorporate every
luxury while remaining easy to sail. An optional push-button
tacking system means the yacht’s able to be sailed single
or short-handed and drop down bow and stern thrusters
coordinated with the main engine mean complete accuracy in
tight quarters. Each floor plan includes a separate shower
room and one or two heads depending on your customisation
and reviewers say the boat is set to create a new stand-ard
in the owner-cruiser category. One of those new standards is
the exceptional cockpit table, electronically lowered to be
converted into a daybed – a first in the production cruising
class.

Bavaria’s Cruiser 41 displays a maximised water
length, and a LOA of 12.35-metres, delivering total free-dom
and outstanding performance. The easy-to-handle yacht has
twin helms, a single rudder, and a clean, unfettered feel
thanks to intelligent arrangement of the hatches and genoa
tracks. A flexible cockpit table boasts an integrated chart
plotter and large lockers under the cockpit floor mean
there’s plenty of room for equipment. The lower able
transom is a head-turner and designed to drastically
increase access to water. Both yachts will be on display at
the Auckland On Water Boat Show for visitors to
explore.

Orakei Yacht Sales will showcase Jeanneau’s
new NC9 at the show
.

Follow up to popular
NC11; NC9 will be presented by Orakei Yacht Sales to
showgoers.

With Jeanneau’s NC11 a noted
success for its open-plan living, panoramic layout and
light, open feel, it made sense for the respected yard to
create a smaller version of the design which incorporated
all of its best features.

NC9 is perfectly matched to our
waters and climate, created in the spirit of Jeanneau’s NC
line, in a com-pact, go-anywhere model. At 9.43-metres LOA
there’s plenty of room to move in this boat, which has
been designed with absolute comfort in mind in a
strikingly-modern style. With a draft of just 1.15-metres,
we’re sure this exciting new model will be popping up in
New Zealand’s waters. The NC9 will be on display at the
Auckland On Water Boat Show for visitors to explore,
alongside the Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 349, also new to Orakei
Marine.

A striking 13-metre elite sedan, custom
designed for each customer.

Scott Lane Boat
Builders showcase a custom-designed boat, designed and built
in New Zealand.

Newly-launched Odysseia,
built by Scott Lane Boat Builders, is a striking 13-metre
sedan commis-sioned and built to Scott Lane’s exact
specifications. After building six motoryachts in the elite
Bill Upfold-designed style, Lane decided he should build one
for him and his family.

Hand-crafted by Lane’s team in
their Clevedon workshop, every detail was overseen by the
eventual owner; Lane himself. An entry-level launch designed
with familial comfort and visibility in mind,
Odysseia is majestic yet simple, with spacious berths
and a seamless indoor-outdoor flow.

Odysseia will
be on display for visitors to explore at the show, and the
Scott Lane team has her sis-ter ship already under
construction at their Papakura
workshop.
