NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A man was fatally shot Thursday at an apartment complex in Nashville.

Officials with the Metro Nashville Police Department said the shooting occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the Bavaria Apartments on Packard Drive.

Police said a male victim in his 20s was shot multiple times.

The motive for the shooting was not immediately known.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where police said he was pronounced deceased.

Police said there are no suspects at this time.
