Bayern Munich captain Philipp Lahm has urged Toni Kroos not to leave the Bundesliga outfit, claiming that it doesn’t get any better than the Bavarians.

Kroos has been linked with a move to Manchester United and has hinted that he may be open to a switch as he feels he is undervalued by Bayern, although some have suggested he is simply trying to force the club into giving him a bumper new deal.
While Lahm appreciates that players may want to look elsewhere, he believes that it is not possible for Kross to make a step up from the treble-winning outfit.
“It is normal that one explores their position and negotiate,” he told Sport Bild.
“But if you currently play for Bayern there are few alternatives, if any.
“It is, in my eyes, an absolute privilege to play here because the team simply has the mentality to win.
“Many players want to come to Bavaria, so you have to think carefully about whether you leave a club like this at the moment.”
