Hitler’s "Mein Kampf" Book Cleared for Republishing

The German state of Bavaria stated on Wednesday that in the name of academic freedom, they would not block the republishing of Mein Kampf, the book by Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler that incited racial hatred and violence leading up to the Holocaust. The copyright for the book falls under the Bavarian state’s jurisdiction. A historical institute wants to published a new special annotated version of the book. However the state of Bavaria said they would prevent other Nazi material from being republished.
