Bavarian bank and exowner of defunct Austrian lender Hypo Alpe Adria (now Heta) BayernLB reportedly plans to continue its suit against Austria, despite the fact that the parties reached a general settlement on the issue, the daily Press writes citing no specific sources.

The move, however, would have only a slight impact on Hypo bad bank Heta and the settlement, according to the paper.

Bavaria apparently hopes to legally secure its claim for EUR 2.75 billion paid to Hypo as a loan and prevent a possibility of suits from other creditors.
