China’s most luxurious boat show for yachts and superyachts, the Hainan Rendezvous which runs between 27th to 30th March will again attract interest in its fifth year from the Far East and Russia to Sanya on Hainan Island. For the first time BAVARIA is one of the exhibitors and shows its largest yacht CRUISER 56.

“The Chinese market will be certainly in the next few years one of the most important worldwide for yachts. Even if the numbers of sales compared to others is relatively small, in order to increase this you have to be well positioned in China beforehand. With BAVARIA, we have in recent years greatly intensified our commitment to China and can now record a rising graph of sales of our own yachts in to China. We have installed a stable and efficient dealer network in China and have found two very good partners. Now we are reaping the first fruits of our efforts and are ready for the anticipated growth of the water sports market in China” said Constantin von Bülow, CEO of BAVARIA yacht building.

BAVARIA is represented in China through its dealer Dalian Lanhai Yachts Co.

Ltd. and Sealord China Co. Ltd., which began their work two years ago and sell sail boats as well as motor yachts in China. In this market, BAVARIA is delivering almost as many motor as sail boats.

The boat exhibited at the Hainan Rendezvous will be the CRUISER 56 which can be built in six different layout options, from comfortable 3 cabin version up to 5 – cabin version plus optional skipper cabin . The CRUISER

56 therefore provides a clever space concept in each of its layouts.

Hainan is blessed with almost endless sandy beaches on one of the most beautiful islands in southwest China with a rapidly growing tourism industry. Sanya in the south of the island, with nearly half a million inhabitants, is the ideal place to showcase yachts and super yachts in the environment of international luxury brands. In the marina at Sanya, around

130 yachts between 50 and 110 feet are berthed, the capacity there will be expanded from 200 to 600 berths.
