The 45-year-old was impressive throughout as he recorded eight birdies and just one bogey to move on to 13-under par for the tournament, one stroke clear of English pair Ross Fisher and Graeme Storm as well as Swede Pelle Edberg.
Jaidee reached the turn in 31 before dropping his only shot of the day at the 10th to momentarily lose his advantage at the top of the standings, but he quickly responded by picking up four shots in his final seven holes to hold the initiative going into the final day.
The world number 44 is chasing his seventh title on the European Tour, with his last success coming at the Nordea Masters in June 2014, and he admitted after his third round that he is happy with his game.
He said: “I’ve been confident with my irons and I’ve got a good score. Seven under is very good for me today; I’ve not had seven under for a long time.”
Jaidee believes the course at the Golf Resort Bad Griesbach suits his style.
He added: “You have to have good tee shots here as the greens are tricky. I enjoy playing this course and my game is good right now. I’m confident and I hit a lot of good shots. The course is not very long so being in position is important.”
Jaidee knows he will face a tough task if he is to secure his first win of the season in Germany, with 30 players within six shots of the lead heading into Sunday’s final round.
