Scotland will get their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign off to the most daunting of starts on Sunday when they face World Cup winners Germany
Gordon Strachan’s men will hope to emulate the achievements of Argentina, 4-2 winners over the Germans in Berlin last Thursday, when he takes his side to Signal Iduna Park, home of Borussia Dortmund, on Sunday.

The Scottish have not qualified for a tournament since the 1998 World Cup in France and they will hope to get their campaign off to a strong start with a surprise result on Sunday.
Since his appointed in January 2013 Strachan has overseen an upturn in fortune with the Scottish unbeaten in their last 6 games.
The Scots will be without Graham Dorrans, Andy Robertson, centre-back Christophe Berra and Scott Brown with Darren Fletcher set to captain the side.
Germany meanwhile will be missing a number of key players as they play their first competitive match as World Cup champions. Miroslav Klose, Philipp Lahm and Per Mertesacker have all retired from International duty while astian Schweinsteiger, Mats Hummels, Mesut Ozil, Julian Draxler and Sami Khedira are all injured.
The absence of eight of his world cup squad coupled with the friendly defeat to the Argentines has left manager Joachim Low apprehensive about the clash.
“Scotland are the kind of team Germany has always struggled against. With their sheer commitment and their running – they are a team who never give up no matter what the score is,” he said.
“They are difficult opponents for us on Sunday. We’ve gone from being hunter to potential prey.
“If you look at this group and Scotland and Ireland, they come across as similar teams. They have similar playing styles, who excel for their passion and physicality of their football.
“We know this group is anything but easy because all the teams will try as hard as they can to make life difficult for us.”
