THE NEW SPORT 400

The BAVARIA display at the Yachting Festival in Cannes from the 9th to 14th September, can hardly be of higher quality. As a world premiere, the shipyard in Germany presents the first motor yacht of the new SPORT 400 line. With the OPEN, HARDTOP, SOFT TOP and the brand new COUPE versions, as displayed in Cannes, it has become more diverse. The exterior and interior of the SPORT 400 have also received a variety of new detail solutions from the design team of BAVARIA and its international partners.

With a completely redesigned seating area at the rear of the SPORT 400, this can be converted quickly into a sun lounger: relax and enjoy an evening drink or chill out in the sun during the day – two options from a single area. Likewise, the multi-function furniture in the cockpit, perfect for an evening dinner, can connect to another mattress by simply folding of the backrest with the sun deck over the helm. These are just two of the many solutions that meet the maxim of SPORT 400 to grant more freedom by increasing owners opportunities.

BAVARIA AND NAUTITECH CATAMARANS

Only in recent weeks, the French shipyard NAUTITECH CATAMARANS was taken over by BAVARIA, and at the fair in Cannes, the two companies will be presenting for the first time together. Since 2004, manufacturers NAUTITECH CATAMARANS have been building catamarans between 40 and 60 feet in Rochefort on the French Atlantic coast and under the direction of founder Bruno Voisard, have enjoyed rapid economic growth. Now, under the umbrella of BAVARIA, a further expansion of the brand is planned.

“The acquisition of NAUTITECH CATAMARANS we now have the complete product portfolio, which is necessary to cover all the new needs of the market.

The segment for comfortable and perfect sailing catamarans has been growing for years and this product range fits perfectly with the existing yacht lines from BAVARIA. There too, we are enjoying ever-increasing market share and are even better positioned together with NAUTITECH CATAMARANS on the charter market and for private owners,” says Daniel Kohl, Chief Product Officer (CPO) at BAVARIA, responsible for the product management of sailboats and motor yachts of BAVARIA and for NAUTITECH CATAMARANS, which will continue under the direction of Bruno Voisard.

The latest development of NAUTITECH CATAMARANS that will be exhibited in Cannes is a 40 foot long catamaran, which was developed in collaboration with Serienbauspezialist Marc Lombard. Like the five other models in its current NAUTITECH CATAMARANS model range, the new 40-foot catamaran features innovative use of space concepts with excellent comfort as well as a high-quality product and fast and safe sailing characteristics.

CRUISER 56 – the flagship in Cannes

The CRUISER 56 is the flagship of the Cruiser line at the fair in Cannes.

Elegant lines, luxury and innovative design in every detail make the CRUISER 56 a one-time dream boat. There are six layout options, from comfortable 3 cabin version up to 5-cabin version plus optional skipper cabin. The CRUISER 56 provides a clever space concept for every demand and a place for everything. The Dinghy is used for example in the dinghy garage under the cockpit space – a development by the engineers at BAVARIA – this can be placed on the swim platform easily and safely into the water. For relaxing sunbathing, the cockpit table can be lowered and with the seats is used to make a spacious sunbathing area. In addition the integrated cooler in the cockpit table will provide ample find cool drinks on a hot sunny day.
