The Frenchman, who moved to Bavaria to be with his older brother after failing to get a professional contact at Lens, scored a goal the Franck would have been more than proud of.

The acrobatic scissor-kick sealed a 2-0 win for “little Bayern” over Garching to move them second in their regional division.

Despite the family resemblance, Steven Ribery’s coach says that Steven plays more like Arjen Robben than his brother Franck, playing on the right wing but cutting inside onto his left foot.

With that being true, there remains an outside chance that the Ribery brothers could line up in the same side in the future.
