A drunken German man fell asleep on top of a horse named Sandy after being unable to get home after a big night out.
Having spent the evening drinking, Guenther Schroeder left a pub in Bavaria without his coat.
Schroeder missed his last bus home, so the 26-year-old resorted to desperate measures to try and get a bed for the night.

He found a stable with a bed of straw, which proved irresistible as temperatures dropped.
“When I got inside there was plenty of straw, but the problem was that there were horses standing on it,” said Schroeder.
“When I saw the blanket on the horse and the horse looked so peaceful that I decided if I can’t sleep under it, I can sleep on top of it,” he said.

“And it was really warm and comfortable and the next thing I knew I was waking up with the police there.”
An apologetic Schroeder returned to the stables two days later to say sorry to horse owner Barbara Zoch, reported British website Metro.
“The one mystery is why the horse didn’t seem to care and let him just sleep on. In fact, he only fell when the officers tried to wake him and they were there to catch him,” a spokesman for the police said.
