Oktoberfest continues in Lake Arrowhead Village this weekend, Oct. 5 and 6, with the music of AlpinersUSA.
Come experience authentic Bavarian music and entertainment on a part with a traditional folk festival in Bavaria or Austria.
The band features the yodeling of Margot Turrell, who also sings in an authentic Bavarian dialect. They offer an entertaining fusion of the best in traditional Oktoberfest music with an eclectic mix of popular tunes from the U.S. and elsewhere.
AlpinersUSA will have the crowd dancing to an upbeat Bavarian Oktoberfest standard, a current Alpen-Rock tune, a vigorous classic rock number, even a sensuous tango.
Audience requests are encouraged! AlpinersUSA invites you to come dance, Schunkel—link arms with your neighbors to either side and sway to the music—and sing as they play in the spirit of Gemuetlichkeit the authentic music of Bavaria to celebrate here the world-famous Munich Oktoberfest.
Oktoberfest takes place at Center Stage on Saturday from noon to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
There will be a number of booths where folks 21 and over can purchase the largest selection of German and craft beers in Southern California. There will also be authentic German food for sale.
Free festival seating is available on a first-come first-served basis. Full tables can be reserved by Center Stage for $50, half tables for $25.
