The Claire Rose Bavaria Pancreatic Cancer Fundraiser will be held Sept. 12 at Cumberland Valley High School.

Sponsors should be obtained for each foul shot that the participant makes out of 100.

All proceeds benefit the Marc Lustgarten Pancreatic Cancer Foundation.

Foul shots can be done anywhere there is a basketball hoop.

The fundraiser is organized by Dennis Bavaria, who lost his wife, Claire Bavaria, to pancreatic cancer in December 2013.

Dennis Bavaria is the coach of the ninth-grade girls’ basketball team at Cumberland Valley. He also founded the Capital AAU Girls Basketball Organization.
