Chinese premier meets with minister-president of Germany’s Bavaria

BEIJING, Nov. 24 — Chinese Premier Li Keqiang meets with Horst Seehofer, chairman of Germany’s Christian Social Union(CSU) and Minister-President of Bavaria, in Beijing, Monday.

Premier Li said China is willing to deepen the cooperation with Germany in the sports field, which is a great opportunity for both of the countries and even the world.

Seehofer said the German football team Bayern Munich wishes to come to China and take part in football match next year. It is also willing to help China train football players.

Seehofer wished that the football teams from China and Germany could one day compete in the finals on the field of World Cup.

Seehofer gave Premier Li a No. 8 T-shirt of Bayern Munich as a gift, which is printed the name of the premier and signed by the members of the whole team.
