Sofia. Minister of Regional Development and Public Works Lilyana Pavlova met with State Minister of the Interior, Public Works and Transport of the German State of Bavaria Free State Joachim Herrmann, the press centre of the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works announced.
Minister Pavlova informed the Bavarian Foreign Minister about the priorities of the Bulgarian government in the field of transport infrastructure in the country – the completion of the motorway ring of the country and the forthcoming introduction of the toll system.
“The new system will meet the requirements of the EU for integration of toll systems in different countries on the territory of the EU,” Minister Pavlova said.
Within the meeting the two ministers discussed the country’s efforts to reduce energy consumption by implementing energy efficiency measures in public and housing sector in Bulgaria.
They discussed coordination of the Danube Strategy, particularly in the security field.
