Munich. President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Rosen Plevneliev, is on a working visit to Germany where he will take part in the 50Th Munich Security Conference, the press centre of the President’s Office announced.
Close to twenty heads of state and government and fifty foreign and defence ministers are expected to participate in the conference. German President Joachim Gauck will open the conference with a speech in the afternoon.
Key issues to be debated include the crisis in Syria, the negotiations over Iran’s nuclear program, and cybersecurity.
President Plevneliev will hold meetings with the Chairperson of the Parliament of the Free State of Bavaria (Landtag of Bavaria), Barbara Stamm, and Minister of Justice Winfried Bausback.
