Munich. “Bulgaria has achieved a lot in the past 25 years but it is necessary we work hard in terms of implementing reforms in the healthcare, education, justice and security sectors,” Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev, who is on a working visit to Germany, where he will take part in the 50th Munich Security Conference, said speaking in a meeting with Chairperson of the Parliament of the Free State of Bavaria (Landtag of Bavaria) Barbara Stamm, the press centre of the President’s Office announced.
Mr Plevneliev presented Bulgaria’s macroeconomic results and the political situation in the country in a sitting with Bavarian officials. Mr Plevneliev remarked merchanidise exchange between Bavaria and Bulgaria had marked a 20% increase on an annual basis in the past 2 years and over 900 Bavarian companies operated in Bulgaria.
Sectors that could see growth in cooperation are components of automobiles manufacture, agriculture, energy efficiency, cluster policies and others.
