Bountiful Basket Food Shelf
The Bountiful Basket Food Shelf is located adjacent to Love INC in the old water treatment plant building at 1600 Bavaria Road.

Bountiful Basket Food Shelf of Eastern Carver County is seeking volunteers to help out at the Chaska site, 1600 Bavaria Road.
Volunteers are needed:
- To pick up food at local grocery stores on weekday mornings and bring back to the food shelf. Van is provided.
- Individuals to work morning or afternoon shifts at the Bountiful Basket to escort and help clients with their food pick up. Volunteers pick their days and shifts.
- Individuals to work the desk when the food shelf is opening. Schedule appointments, greet customers and answer the phone.
- On occasion volunteers are needed to go to school, churches, and business to pick up donated food for the Bountiful Basket. Dates and times vary.
- Help to unload boxes of food that is purchased from Second Harvest and the Emergency Food Shelf Network. Delivery dates are typically mid-morning approximately twice a month.

BOARD MEMBERS
The Bountiful Basket Food Shelf of Eastern Carver County is also seeking volunteer board members.
The board meets the third Monday night of each month at 7 p.m. Meetings typically last one hour. The board made up of nine members from the communities of Carver, Chanhassen, Chaska and Victoria.
“The primary prerequisites are that you care about others and that you feel you have time and talent that may help a food shelf with its mission,” states a press release.
