Origo Studios recently played host to the shoot of A Good Day to Die Hard and has supplied local production services on such recent international productions as Angelina Jolie‘s directorial debut, In The Land of Blood and Honey. Bavaria is one of Europe’s largest film and television services group with services credits on films such as The Three Musketeers and Perfume: The Story of a Murderer.
Bavaria and Origo hope the German-Hungarian link-up will appeal to international producers looking to tap production subsidies on both sides of the border.
“The film subsidies in Hungary and German have different focuses that, within the framework of this cooperation, can be optimally combined for our clients,” said Origo Film Group CEO Ilona Kecskes.
