Over the last few years, Bayern Munich has grown by leaps and bounds in the global market. With targeted marketing toward the United States and now China, FC Bayern is making an impact that only a few clubs can claim. Now, Bayern can claim their 4000th fan club!

Kirchdorf, Germany and it’s 95 supporters are now home to FC Bayern’s 4000th fan club throughout the entire world. Those clubs have a total of 309,425 members. Germany has 3,462 of those fan clubs with 274,434 members.

Bayern’s global expansion in the United States has certainly paid off. In the last season, the number of American fan clubs has grown from 8 to 88. Now, only Germany (3,462) and Austria (125) have more official fan clubs than the United States.
