Bavarian digital take-up grows

Eighty per cent of homes in Bavaria now use at least one way, be it via satellite, cable, DVB-T or DSL, to receive digital TV services.

Moreover, according Funkanalyse Bayern 2013, the level of digitisation of cable now stands at 46%.

The study also says that almost 75% of the population of Bavaria use the internet at least once a week, with the figure rising to approximately 93% among 14-49-year-olds.

Looking at internet radio, it found that the main mode of transmission is the PC, used by 30.4% of the population aged 14 and over.

Also, nearly 9% of Bavaria’s population in Bavaria now has a digital radio (DAB).
