Citi Business has learnt that Dutch brewery giant, BAVARIA will next year setup a plant to start producing its products here in Ghana.

Bavaria is the second largest brewery in the Netherlands and it produces an average 500 million liters of beer annually.

A joint venture partnership is expected between the Netherlands – based brewery and indigenous liquor maker, Kasapreko.

Chief Executive Officer of Kasapreko Company Limited, Dr. Kwabena Agyei in an interview with Citi Business News said his outfit’s partnership will provide a platform for Bavaria to penetrate the Ghanaian market before it’s official starts production here.

“We are partnering a company in Holland called Bavaria. Bavaria produces beer, malt and soft drinks. We are going to partner them, produce to sell that one very soon, and the next year, we are going to bottle them here ourselves.”
