Volunteers Eric Koho and Michelle Sailor ham it up in front of the Kirkland Oktoberfest Glockenspiel in downtown Kirkland.

This weekend Kirkland celebrates Oktoberfest on the waterfront at Marina Park. The featured 120′ long Festhalle tent and main stage is the place to be to enjoy authentic German Oktoberfest food, bier and music. The biergarten boasts some of the best musicians around and the Kirkland debut of Vancouver, BC’s S-Bahn performing Saturday until 11pm and Sunday until 6pm.

The Oktoberfest Village (all ages, FREE) will have pumpkin painting and crafts, food, vendor tents, a celebrity appearance by Detlef Schrempf (Saturday, 11am), fitness course (Saturday) and the eagerly anticipated Wienerdog Races (Sunday, 2pm).
