At least two people dead in fiery Fort Myers crash

FORT MYERS, Fla. – At least two people are dead after a car slams into a power pole and bursts into flames in Fort Myers.

The crash happened shortly before 10 p.m. Saturday night near the intersection of Treeline Avenue and Bavaria Road. 

The Fort Myers Police Department tells FOX 4 the southbound lanes of Treeline Ave. were expected to be closed for several hours. 

There’s no word on what caused the crash or how many people were involved.
