A new opportunity has just arisen in the passive component market, for an experienced Area Sales Manager with a background selling in to Bavarian and/or Austrian customers. My client is a well established brand in these locations, so the role will require management of existing accounts in the industrial, consumer and automotive space, as well as a big focus on new business development.
The successful candidate will have the following background:
– 5+ years selling electronic components
– An established customer network in Bavaria and/or Austria
– A proven track record managing large accounts
– A home office in Bavaria
– The willingness to travel
– Business fluent German and English
This is an excellent opportunity to join a global component manufacturer and enjoy the challenges of identifying product gaps/trends, ‘designing in’ components and ultimately securing new business/entering annual contract negotiations. This is a technically involved sales position, offering a range of responsibilities which exceed a traditional ASM role in the passive component market.
