German operator Amplus has announced an infrastructure cooperation with the community of Bruckberg. As part of the broadband funding programme in rural areas of Lower Bavaria, municipalities are investing in new data infrastructure. It said 1,440 households will get access to fibre broadband at up to 100 Mbps.
There will be 1,093 addresses in Edlkofen, Bruckbergerau, Lerchen, Lindpoint, Ried, Gundlkofen, Reichersdorf, Beutelhausen, Engelsdorf, Bachhorn, Attenhausen, Poerndorf and Eggersdorf benefiting from the expansion, receiving bandwidth of up to 30 Mbps from this December. Amplus will also provide three addresses with a FTTB/H connection, which will allow download speeds of up to 200 Mbps.
