Almazbek Atambayev to deliver lecture in Representation of Bavaria in Brussels …

Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev during his working visit to Belgium today will perform a lecture at the Bavarian Representation in Brussels.

The meeting with the expert community and journalists will be held on the theme “The Kyrgyz Republic: Democratic reforms and foreign policy priorities.” Director of the Hanns Seidel Foundation K.Forestner and vice-president of the Institute of Oriental, Western M.Fleisher, as well as a senior expert in the science of Bavaria F.Hoytshait will meet the President.

After the discussion, the participants will be offered to visit the photo exhibition “Kyrgyzstan – a chance for a young democracy.” Recall, part of the exhibition is devoted to the tragic events of April 7, 2010. “This is the day that changed the course of history. Kyrgyz photographers Nina Gorshkov, Vyacheslav Oseledko and Igor Kovalenko witnessed the historical events and captured them on their shots. We want to show the citizens of Europe, at what cost the citizens of Kyrgyzstan got a chance to take the path of democratic development,” the organizers said.

The second part of the exhibition – “Kyrgyzstan – the country of modern nomads.” Kyrgyz – an ancient people with a rich nomadic culture. In September 2014, a grand World Nomads Games were held, which was attended by athletes from 25 countries.
